C2C Route

This 225km (140 miles) route was the first of Britain's now-famous coast-to-coast rides. It runs from the scenic coast of northwest England through the Northern Lakes and over the Pennines before reaching its conclusion on the shores of the North Sea; Tyneside or Roker Marina in Sunderland, take your pick.

Whitehave to Ennerdale (10-mile)

The Whitehaven to Ennerdale Cyclepath is a 10 mile surfaced cycling route from Whitehaven on the east coast, passing through Cleator Moor, then to Sherif's Gate, between Rowrah and Kirkland.

Hadrian’s Wall Path

The National Trail follows the line of the Hadrian’s Wall UNESCO World Heritage Site, passing through some of the most beautiful parts of England – from rolling fields and rugged borderlands to the vibrant cities of Newcastle and Carlisle – with dozens of fascinating museums along the way.

Whitehaven – Colourful Coastal Walk

This dramatic cliff-top walk starts at Whitehaven’s historic 17th-century harbour, passing the town’s industrial archaeology to join Wainwright’s Coast to Coast path.

Buttermere

Buttermere (the lake) offers one of the best round-the-lake walks in the Lake District. The walk is relatively easy and levels with a great 'reward for effort' ratio. The views mean that your photos make it look like you've been somewhere much more rugged.

Lanthwaite Wood and Crummock Water

This walk is dominated by two spectacular views: the famous vista of the Buttermere fells seen over Crummock Water, and the dramatic rocky buttress of Grasmoor End, looming over the northern end of the lake.

Castleton is a great place to go for a walk, explore the attraction or hang out in local pubs. It's a beautiful village surrounded by hills. A real hot spot. It can be very busy at the height of summer.

Castle Naze

This is a walk which starts on the outskirts of Buxton. near Corbar Woods in Buxton and heading out into the countryside up and over Bleak Edge and Short Edge, taking you high up then reaching Castle Naze.

This Padley Gorge walk is best suited to kids aged 5 and over because of the terrain, and we can pretty much guarantee they’ll love it!

Three Shires Head

Three Shire Head is where Derbyshire, Staffordshire, and Cheshire meet.

The Roaches

The gritstone escarpment which includes Ramshaw Rocks and Hen Cloud is situated above the historic market town of Leek.

Bamford Edge

The historically restricted crag is now open thanks to0 the Crow Act. Great rock and what might be the most photogenic crag in the peak.

Windgather Rocks

Windgather rocks is a small gritstone carg situated close to the village of kettleshulme. It's popular with beginners and families alike, with many of the routes positioned at the easier end of the grade spectrum.

Cat and Fiddle - Hill Climb

Starting in Macclesfield, Cheshire, at the traffic lights where the famous Arighi Bianchi department store is located, this is one of the Peak District’s most famous hill climbs.

High Peak Trail

The High Peak Trail is a favourite with cyclists who want to discover the hidden gems of the Peak District.

Tissington Trail

The Tissington Trail splits from the High Peak Trail just to the south of the Parsley Hay Visitor Centre, where there are refreshments, cycle hire, and car parking.
