Space
Lantern View House has four bedrooms (2 bedrooms with kingsize beds and ensuite bath/ shower room, 2 bedrooms with pairs of singles (extra-long beds 6’6″; one pair can be linked to a super king ).
The large, comfortable sitting room has three sofas and a TV with Netflix subscription.
The large kitchen-diner has everything you need to enjoy refueling and relaxing at the end of the day, with a small balcony with great views to Lantern Pike.
There is a large basement suitable for storing bikes and other equipment, accessed from the dining area, or through an outside door (no need to wheel bikes through the house).
Transit
There are railway links close by in New Mills and Whaley Bridge. Driving is the easiest way to explore the area but there is a fantastic walking and cycling route right out of the front door.

Neighborhood
Lantern View sits on the edge of the historical village of Hayfield. This village is famous for the starting point of the 1932 ‘Mass Trespass’ on Kinder Scout which was the beginning of the right to roam movement in the UK. You can still walk the same route through Hayfield and up onto the Moors. The village itself is beautiful and has many popular tea shops and pubs. The house itself is located on the Sett Valley Trail,
